FAULTS. 1.There are three kinds of faults:Strike-slip,Normal and,Thrust (reverse.)
2.Normal faults are formed by tensional forceses.
3.S.A.F (San Andreas fault) is a place where two tectonic plates touch the North Amarica andPacific plates .

How are earthquakes measured?
1.The Richter scale then pops in are mind when we ask that question but their is a another.. The Mercalli scale also measures earthquakes but isn't considered as scientific as the Richter scale though mainly is it was guessing base how much damaged happened to their homes so it is not scientific.
