Tectonic plates are like the skin of earth .These plates are called make the top layer is called the lithosphere. The lithosphere had a layer under it called asthenosphere. The asthenosphere is molten rock. All the continents got separated because of tectonic plates. Seven of the major tectonic plates include African, Antartic, Eurasin, Nourth American, South American and India-Australian.
